Exploring our five senses as an alternative to spiraling thoughts

I’ve got an audio for you today. This is a way easier format for me to sustain on a weekly basis for now. Also, it’s how I can take you on an experience: the core of my work and life.

This substack is about experimenting at this point. And probing for resonance. In the form of any feedback from you or my own insights.

The premise of today’s audio, with a little bit of theory and a guided practice, is that we can not just stop or switch off thinking. It’s a fallacy for the body and mind that tolerate no void or vacuum.

There is an antidote to thinking, though, that we can SHIFT TO. And that antidote is sensing. Check out the audio for more words on this, but primarily for an experience. As words don’t do it.

And I’ve got something visual for you as well. A couple pics from the elder tree that I am mentioning in the audio.

It’s like a web, right? A fractal form that are also ubiquitous in our bodies. Loved the blooming pioneers on the top.
And this one creates anticipation, would you say? In me anyway.
And this is where it gets hypnotizing. To the eyes, the nose, and arguably to all of the senses. You can go even deeper by staring at a single flower. I can guarantee a trippy experience if you stay with it for at least 5 min
