Nature-Supported Experiences for New Ways of Working, Relating and Sensemaking
Hi, I’m Yulia. Thanks for stopping by.
My work in its current form is inspired by an experience of belonging to the bigger world. At a time when my usual ways of coping had stopped working, this sense of being accepted, welcome, held by the natural world trees, flowers, sky became my lifeline.
It changed me in profound ways. And my understanding of the human nature, creativity, change.
Since then, I’ve taken everything I knew and practiced as a coach and facilitator into an expanded context that includes the ecological world for exploring who we are, innovating, and relating to each other.
This is the thread behind my team walks, Sensemaking Labs, Living World Lab, podcast, and writing.
New thinking doesn’t come from the same state, setup, and conditions. So my work begins there: with shifting the conditions for perception, relating, creativity, and sensemaking.
Nature Team Walks in Berlin
Step outside and let new ideas find you
A guided outdoor format for teams who spend most of their work life in screens, meetings, and fast analytical mode.
The walk helps the team step out of its usual working setup and into a different one: moving, fresh air, different surroundings, and direct contact with the living world.
Effects others appreciated:
Space from digital overload
A break from screen-heavy work and constant input.
A shift out of habitual thinking
Movement, place, and sensory attention help interrupt familiar loops.
Different conversations
People meet beyond the usual roles, scripts, and meeting patterns.
Fresh perspectives
Ideas easily shift when the state, pace, and environment change.
Relevant for teams working with pressure, complexity, and digital overload. And for those interested in unique shared experiences, and having a memorable time together.
The walk can take place in Grunewald or near your office.
Typical format: 3 hours, 6-15 people groups.

Sensemaking Labs
For sensing what is not yet there
Sensemaking Labs are experiential sessions for expanding sensemaking and emergent creativity.
We work with perception, imagination, body, and play. The point is to interrupt automatic frames and make space for new meanings before they harden into old answers.
For groups working with open questions, early ideas, shifting contexts, or the sense that something wants to emerge but is not yet clear.
I’m still developing the methodology and looking for more communities, teams, and curious groups to test it with. People who have tried related formats describe them as “a very different experience,” “stepping outside the everyday,” and a way of noticing things they “hadn’t really felt before.”
If this speaks to your work or inquiry, drop me a line and let’s see if there is a way to collaborate.
Living World Lab
From knowing about nature to feeling part of life again
Living World Lab works with the gap between ecological knowledge and felt belonging.
Through guided walks or indoor sessions, we explore plants, animals, elements, and living systems as kin — through contemporary science, imagination, somatics, and body-centered ways of knowing.
I’m still developing the methodology and looking for educators, communities, cultural spaces, and curious people to test it with. People who have tried related practices said that afterwards “the forest felt different,” like they were “breathing with the trees,” and described it as “a reconnection — with myself, others, and the world.”
If this touches something you are exploring, let’s see if there is a way to collaborate.

About me:
My work is shaped by an unusual mix: Silicon Valley, Greenpeace, founder experience, and years of training in coaching, breathwork, embodiment, improv, and wilderness education.
I bring a practical understanding of organizational life together with experiential methods that work through body, perception, place, and relationship.
That is the ground from which I design walks, labs, and participatory formats for teams, organizations, institutions, and communities.
Training includes:
transformative coaching
emergent creativity practice (Worldmakers community)
breathwork
embodiment facilitation
wilderness guide training
MBA from San Jose
ongoing study in somatics, neurobiology, improv, and nature-based learning.
